Tasogare Otome Amnesia (Dusk Maiden)

I'm impressed so far. I love Maybe's manga on which this anime is based and am pleased to see a skillful adaptation. While it is near impossible to reproduce Maybe's artistic style in an anime, the artwork in the first ep still carries the feel of the original story.

Teichi

Okonogi

And what's the story? It centers on Yuuko, the amnesiac ghost haunting a school and Teichi and his friends who are trying to solve the different paranormal mysteries that the school holds in an effort to uncover Yuuko's past. It is equal parts horror, romance, suspense, and comedy.

aaaaand. Yuuko. <3

In addition to the great art and already entertaining plotline, the first ep does a great job dealing with the fact that Teichi and Kirie can see Yuuko, whereas the over-zealous Okonogi cannot. We also get to see the early combination of Yuuko's sultry shyness and Teichi's nervous devotion. Huge recommendation for this one.

Teichi's hand ends up here a lot. A LOT.

Kirie. I like this shot.
