Last Exile - Fam, the Silver Wing Episode 8

I am intrigued by the vast differences between the vanships in this series.

If you remember, the last ep ended with the Sylvius facing a rather intense ultimatum: give up the princess or face an entire fleet.

Gotta love a nation of cute, white-haired, Russian-speaking pilots.

But we side-step that and get a view of Gracias and it's troops. They sortie to face enemies on their border. Which ones are those? The same battle that the Sylvius is in the middle of.

Holy crap, hold on to your hats. Battle ensues and it goes 100mph the whole ep.

Tatiana drums up some crazy tactics to save the Sylvius. The Gracias vanships do a severe amount of damage (and apparently they speak Russian). A Fam and Millia take down the flagship of the Ades fleet that is pursuing them.

But not all is well. We are left with the Sylvius beaten and battered and it seems that something is deeply wrong with Gisey.
