Fam and Gisey have teamed up with the Sylvius. They set out for their first battleship capture while Millia fights to keep the dream of Turan alive and establish a Turan government in exile - even if it's just her and Teddy.

The Loli-queen of Ades makes her appearance again. I don't know how i feel about her yet. She is certainly not innocent of the aggression and the slaughter, but there seems to be back story that will explain more as to why. I reserve judgment until then.

One thing is for sure, the hyper-mechanized city with the dead land all around it is almost always a bad guy in Japanese sci-fi narratives (think Midgar).

Man, and what a one-scene cliff hanger. The hell that is good narrative balance.
