Pure shonen. Sword fights, special moves, a super cute and innocent lead female, and rock tracks for the battle scene backgrounds. Pure genre.

And for that reason, it's rather enjoyable. Honestly, there isn't anything special about the show. The plot is cliche. The Sengoku era is interesting. The characters are fun (especially Ana...).

If you want something that is strictly entertaining, this is a good bet. And it doesn't over moralize (like non-canon Bleach episodes...). And there's Isanami. But this really doesn't require reviews. Just screenshots.
