And another chaotic mess of a show reaches a chaotic mess of an ending.
It's an all out showdown between Haruaki's friends and Alice of the Families (who can apparently multiply herself). And it's also a showdown between two ideas of loving the Waas for what they are (killing machines) or what they want to be.

As with most episodes, i found myself confused as to how things happened the way they did. There is no sensible progression of narrative.

Overall, this show has been similar to the experience of reading Tsutomo Nihei mangas: visually very interesting, but you never know what the hell is going on. Part of this is the problem of being a piece of a light novel series (i find few of these are getting good adaptations anymore), but it is most just bad storyboarding.
