Another Episode 1 [double-entendre unintended...]

Oh heavens, this season. I am so going to fail my comps.

Another is a horror/tragedy based off a manga by the same name. The basic idea is  one of those "girl dies during high school and haunts the place" tropes. As worn as that is, this doesn't look like it will be boring.

Sakibara finds himelf as the new student  at a school with a tragic and twisted past. He finally starts classes after a hospital stay and seems to be getting on with his peers, but something isn't quite  right. They seem to be keeping something back from him. And who is this Misaki girl that he keeps running into and who keeps saying such cryptic things?

There are a number of pluses to this show. the art is top shelf, the OST has a great feel to it (though the op was gross. just saying.), and each shot does a great job of heightening the creepy feeling of the show. Looks like a keeper.
